Senior Manager- Agriculture/Consulting - 5 Years - Mumbai

Seeking a Mumbai-based Agri Research Analyst (4-8 yrs) to enhance agricultural/rural research coverage. Focus on market research, farmer profitability, and strategic solutions driving new product development (NPD) and potential product management opportunities. Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills are essential. Ag inputs (pesticides, seeds, fertilizers) and crop/farmer behavior experience preferred.

  • Engage with clients and stakeholders across the agricultural value chain.
  • Contribute to developing innovative research products and services.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in a relevant agricultural field is preferred, but a strong Bachelor's with experience is considered.
  • Proven experience in agricultural research & product development, particularly related to farmer profitability and market analysis, is essential.
  • Candidates must possess strong analytical, research, and communication skills, including experience interacting with clients and stakeholders.
  • Experience in the agricultural input sector (pesticides, seeds, fertilizers) is highly desirable, as is a strong understanding of the agricultural landscape.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset, teamwork skills, and willingness to travel are also required.
