Job Description

Payroll Management (via Keka HRMS)

  • Collect and validate inputs (attendance, leave, overtime, variable pay, deductions) in Keka.
  • Process monthly payroll accurately and on time through the Keka portal.
  • Generate salary slips, payroll MIS, and reconciliation reports from Keka.
  • Handle full & final settlements, arrears, bonus, and incentive payouts.

Statutory Compliance

  • Manage PF, ESI, Professional Tax, LWF, and TDS through Keka and respective portals.
  • Prepare and file statutory returns (monthly/quarterly/annual) as per compliance deadlines.
  • Reconcile challans and ensure timely remittance of contributions.
  • Coordinate during statutory audits and inspections.

Employee Support

  • Address payroll-related queries raised by employees via Keka or directly.
  • Guide employees on PF withdrawals/transfers, ESI benefits, and other compliance-related matters.

Reporting & Coordination

  • Maintain payroll records and generate compliance reports.
  • Coordinate with HR and Finance teams for smooth payroll execution.
  • Provide payroll and compliance data for audits and management review.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Commerce / HR / related field.
  • 4–6 years of experience in payroll processing & statutory compliance.
  • Hands-on experience with Keka HRMS is mandatory.
  • Good knowledge of PF, ESI, PT, LWF, TDS, and other applicable labor laws.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot tables).
  • Strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and accuracy.

Preferred Attributes

  • Prior experience handling payroll for 200+ employees through Keka.
  • Knowledge of Income Tax (salary taxation) and labor law updates.
  • Ability to resolve employee queries with clarity and empathy.
