Key Accountabilities:

  • Handle inbound and outbound communication in German and English with clients, partners, and internal teams.
  • Support the operations and customer service teams by interpreting queries and coordinating with German-speaking counterparts.
  • Assist in resolving issues related to shipments, documentation, and compliance by engaging with German carriers and agents.
  • Shipping Documentation: Handle end-to-end shipping import/export documentation back-office process.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Coordinate with shipping lines and other stakeholders.
  • Mailbox Management: Manage and oversee assigned mailboxes.
  • Provide timely responses to email queries.
  • Provide regular updates to clients on shipment status and other relevant information.

Required Qualifications:

  • German language proficiency at B2 level or higher (preferably Goethe-Institute certified).
  • Any bachelor's degree(UG/PG in Logistics preferred).
  • 1–3 years of experience in the logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain industry preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in both German and English.
  • Good understanding of international shipping terms (e.g., Incoterms, customs procedures) is a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; experience with ERP or logistics software (e.g. eFS, SAP, CargoWise, TMS) will be an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle multiple priorities.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
