Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant- Process Improvement Specialist
We are seeking a highly motivated Process Improvement Specialist with a strong background in Operational Excellence, Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt/Black Belt certification), and proven expertise in Banking operations and Data Governance. The role requires driving continuous improvement initiatives, enhancing process efficiency, ensuring compliance with governance standards, and supporting business transformation programs within the banking domain.
Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver process improvement projects using Lean Six Sigma methodologies

• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders across business, technology, and data teams to identify improvement opportunities, optimize workflows, and eliminate inefficiencies.

• Ensure alignment of operational processes with banking regulations, data governance frameworks, and compliance requirements.

• Drive adoption of Operational Excellence best practices, creating a culture of continuous improvement.

• Collect, analyze, and interpret operational and financial data to support decision-making and performance monitoring.

• Facilitate root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive measures for recurring process issues.

• Develop and track KPIs/metrics to measure effectiveness of improvement initiatives and ensure sustainability.

• Conduct training, mentoring, and capability-building workshops on Lean Six Sigma and data governance practices.

• Collaborate with Data Governance teams to ensure data quality, lineage, and compliance with data management policies.

• Prepare executive-level presentations, reports, and dashboards to communicate progress, risks, and outcomes of improvement initiatives.

Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum Qualifications

• Experience in Process Improvement / Operational Excellence, preferably in Banking & Financial Services.

• Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt (Black Belt preferred).

• Strong understanding of Data Governance principles, data quality management, and regulatory compliance

• Hands-on experience in process re-engineering, automation, and transformation initiatives.

• Proficiency in process mapping tools (Visio, ARIS, Signavio, etc.) and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent).

• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and quantitative skills.

• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills.

• Banking domain knowledge covering Retail, Corporate, or Investment Banking operations.

• Strong change management and coaching abilities to influence and embed process excellence culture.

• Experience working in Agile/Scaled Agile environments.
