Role Description

SynSmart is seeking a full-time Research Associate specializing in Custom Synthesis to join our growing team in Navi Mumbai. This on-site role involves planning, executing, and optimizing chemical synthesis projects for global clients. Key responsibilities include conducting complex organic synthesis, developing innovative methodologies, optimizing reaction conditions, documenting experimental results, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines and objectives.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Organic Chemistry, Synthetic Chemistry, and related experimental techniques
  • Experience with custom synthesis, reaction optimization, and process chemistry
  • Strong analytical skills, including proficiency in NMR, LC-MS, HPLC, and other instrumental techniques
  • Ability to design, plan, and execute chemical reactions and troubleshoot challenges effectively
  • Attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to high-quality work
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills in a professional setting
  • MSC in Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, or a related field
  • Prior industry experience in custom synthesis or drug discovery projects is an advantage
