Role Summary:
An experienced SEO professional responsible for driving organic growth through advanced technical SEO, content strategy, local/global optimization, and data-driven insights. The ideal candidate blends analytical skills, creativity, and strategic thinking to help brands stand out across search ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities:
SEO Strategy & Execution
Develop and execute holistic SEO strategies aligned with business goals.
Define performance KPIs and organic growth roadmaps.
Collaborate with marketing, content, and product teams for integrated results.
Technical SEO:
Conduct detailed site audits crawlability, indexation, site structure.
Implement schema markup, Core Web Vitals improvements, and page speed optimization.
Manage mobile-first and JavaScript-based SEO implementations.
Content & On-Page Optimization:
Perform keyword and intent-based content planning.
Optimize metadata, internal linking, and content hierarchy.
Work with writers to create SEO-friendly, engaging content.
GEO / Local SEO:
Manage multi-regional and localized SEO strategies (hreflang, GMB, etc.).
Optimize for regional search intent and local citations.
Track performance by geography and language.
Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) / App SEO:
Oversee app visibility in Play Store and App Store (ASO).
Optimize web pages and deep links as per latest SERP updates.
Leverage analytics for performance improvement.
Analytics & Insights:
Track and report on key metrics via GA4, GSC, SEMrush, and Ahrefs.
Build dashboards (e.g., Looker Studio) for performance visualization.
Translate data insights into actionable SEO improvements.
Search AI Overview:
Utilize AI-driven tools for content ideation and keyword clustering.
Experiment with generative SEO and machine learning-based recommendations.
Stay updated with Google's AI advancements (BERT, MUM, Gemini).
Collaboration & Project Management:
Work cross-functionally with design, dev, and content teams.
Manage SEO projects in agile sprints using tools
Present findings and strategy updates to leadership.
Required Skills:
~5 years of proven experience in SEO (B2B, SaaS, or consulting preferred).
Expertise with Google Analytics (GA4), Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, etc.
Strong understanding of user intent, UX, and CRO principles.
Excellent communication and analytical thinking.
Ability to handle multi-market, multilingual SEO campaigns.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, IT, or related field.
SEO / Analytics certifications (Google, SEMrush, HubSpot, Moz).
Exposure to AEO/ASO and mobile-first optimization.
Experience with AI or automation tools for SEO.
