Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Assistant Showroom Manager to support the daily operations and sales activities of our Damro showroom in Gachibowli. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in furniture retail, exceptional customer service skills, and a passion for interior design. You will play a key role in driving sales, ensuring showroom excellence, and leading the team to achieve and exceed targets.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Customer Service:
- Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets.
- Greet customers, understand their needs, and provide expert advice on furniture selection, styling, and space planning.
- Guide customers through the entire sales process, from product demonstration to closing the sale and arranging delivery.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally and effectively to ensure complete satisfaction.
2. Showroom Management:
- Assist the Showroom Manager in the day-to-day operational running of the showroom.
- Ensure the showroom is impeccably maintained, clean, and visually merchandised to the highest standards.
- Monitor inventory levels on the showroom floor and coordinate with the warehouse for restocking.
- Implement and uphold all company policies and procedures.
3. Team Leadership & Training:
- Supervise, mentor, and motivate the showroom sales team in the absence of the Manager.
- Assist in training new team members on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service standards.
- Foster a positive, competitive, and collaborative team environment.
4. Administration:
- Prepare daily sales reports and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Manage cash handling, daily reconciliations, and ensure accuracy in billing.
- Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure timely and accurate customer deliveries.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: A minimum of 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in furniture retail sales or showroom management is mandatory.
- Gender: This position is open to male candidates only.
- Age: Candidates must be below 30 years of age.
