Desktop Support Engineer L2

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Level 2 technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues including OS installations, driver updates, and application errors
  • Manage Outlook configuration, VPN setup, and network connectivity issues
  • Handle incident management and service requests using ticketing tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy)
  • Perform remote desktop support and onsite troubleshooting
  • Support Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe products, antivirus tools (EDR/XDR), and backup/recovery solutions
  • Maintain SLA compliance and ensure timely resolution of technical issues
  • Coordinate with vendors for hardware replacements and warranty claims
  • Document issues and resolutions for knowledge base updates

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in L2 desktop support (minimum 3 years)
  • Strong knowledge of Windows OS, networking basics, and system administration
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, and remote access tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under pressure
  • Certifications like MCSA, MCITP, or CompTIA A+ are a plus

Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary: Competitive, based on experience
