General Manager – Food

Responsibility:
Food & Beverages division. (including Liquor) + Rooms Division (Hotel) + Banquet hall
Role Overview:
The General Manager (F&B & Rooms) will be responsible for overseeing the entire Food & Beverage operations and hotel rooms division and to ensure that all units are run efficiently. The role demands strong leadership, operational excellence, and business acumen to ensure high-quality guest experiences, cost control, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
Food & Beverage Operations:
- Oversee daily operations of restaurants, bars, banquets, and catering.
- Develop and implement innovative menus and promotions to increase revenue.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, and service.
- Monitor inventory, control costs, and minimize wastage.
- Ensure compliance with FSSAI, safety, and hygiene standards.
Rooms Division Management :
- Manage room reservations, housekeeping, front office, and guest services.
- Ensure maximum occupancy, yield management, and guest satisfaction.
- Maintain rooms and amenities to high-quality standards.
- Supervise housekeeping and maintenance to ensure cleanliness and upkeep.
- Upkeep of room in all respect include internet and other gaming tools
Leadership & People Management:
- Lead, train, and motivate a team across F&B and rooms operations.
- Implement SOPs and ensure consistent service delivery.
- Conduct performance evaluations and foster a positive work culture.
Financial & Business Management:
- Prepare and manage departmental budgets, P&L statements, and forecasts.
- Achieve revenue, profitability, and cost-control targets.
- Identify business opportunities to increase revenue streams.
Customer Experience & Relationship Management:
- Ensure high levels of guest satisfaction and handle escalations effectively.
- Build strong relationships with regular customers, vendors, and partners.
- Implement guest feedback mechanisms for continuous improvement.
- Maintain liaison with 3rd party booking platform
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's/ Master degree in Hotel Management or equivalent; MBA preferred.
- 10–15 years of experience in F&B and hotel operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of F&B operations, hotel rooms management, Liquor service and compliance requirements there to, budgeting, and cost control.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage operations efficiently.
- Hands-on approach with attention to detail.
