Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Partnerships & Business Development
- Develop and execute a comprehensive B2B partnership strategy spanning education financing (loans/Insurances and ancillary services)) and savings (mutual funds/FD/DigiGold).
- Build and nurture relationships with schools, universities, coaching institutes, financial planners, banks/NBFCs, AMCs, wealth advisors, and fintech platforms.
- Drive strategic alliances with key stakeholders to create a strong distribution ecosystem for both loans and investments.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities between education loan borrowers and investment (MF) customers to maximize value.
- Growth & Revenue Optimization
- Lead partner acquisition, engagement, and retention efforts to drive loan applications and mutual fund investments.
- Optimize loan distribution channels by collaborating with lenders, universities, and student advisory bodies.
- Expand the mutual fund business by onboarding IFAs, wealth managers, and digital distribution networks.
- Track and enhance conversion rates across both verticals, ensuring strong unit economics.
- Stakeholder & Relationship Management
- Build and maintain C-level relationships with key financial and education sector partners.
- Collaborate with banks, NBFCs, and fintech players to streamline the education loan process and reduce drop-offs.
- Establish co-branded partnerships with AMCs and investment platforms for mutual fund distribution.
- Cross-functional Collaboration & Execution
- Work closely with Marketing, Product, Sales, and Compliance teams to align partnerships with business objectives.
- Enable seamless partner integration, ensuring operational efficiency in both loan disbursals and investment onboarding.
- Conduct training sessions for sales and advisory teams to enhance product knowledge and sales effectiveness.
Key Requirements
- Experience & Industry Knowledge
- 3+ years in B2B partnerships, strategic alliances, or business development within financial services, ed-fintech, or investment management.
- Deep understanding of education loans (NBFCs, Banks, Universities) and mutual funds distribution (AMCs, IFAs, digital wealth platforms).
- Strong network within banks, NBFCs, mutual fund distributors, schools, and universities
- Skills & Capabilities
- Proven experience in structuring high-value partnerships, negotiating contracts, and executing deals.
- Strong analytical mindset with an ability to track partner performance and drive data-backed decisions.
- Leadership skills to drive cross-functional collaboration and influence senior stakeholders.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements (RBI, SEBI, AMFI guidelines) affecting loans and mutual funds.
