Field Sales Executive

A Field Sales Executive drives revenue by finding and closing deals with clients face-to-face in their territory, focusing on building relationships, understanding customer needs, presenting products, negotiating, and meeting sales targets, requiring significant travel, communication skills, and market knowledge. Key duties include prospecting, giving demos, handling objections, maintaining client databases, and reporting on sales activities. Key Responsibilities:
- Prospecting & Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in a specific geographical area.
- Client Engagement: Meet with prospective and existing clients to understand needs and present tailored solutions.
- Sales & Negotiation: Deliver presentations, demonstrate products, handle objections, and negotiate pricing/contracts to close deals.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients for repeat business.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer information, and generate reports.
- Market Awareness: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor strategies, and product knowledge.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven field sales experience.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong time management and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and travel frequently.
- Customer-focused with strong relationship-building skills.
Typical Reporting Structure:
- Often works as the primary contact for clients in their territory.
- Collaborates with internal teams (marketing, support) to ensure customer success.
