Descriptif mission

The Software Technical Lead, will be responsible for driving a strong team of engineers working on hi-tech embedded applicative software in a provided project perimeter. You will be part of Software Engineering Department which has multidisciplinary teams across multiple Safran sites working together to provide innovative, future products of high technological value in aeronautical, land and maritime industries. You will work in close collaboration with the Reseach & Development headquarters of Safran Electronics and Defense in France. In the short term, you will join a task force dedicated to Low Level Testing. You will have the responsibility of the Low Level Testing activities, by driving your team directly. In this context you will be reporting directly to the Technical Manager and operationally to the Project Manager. Working with others, you shall responsible for: - The planning of activities by assigning the right workload to each Team member according to their skills, based on your own experience; - Making sure the Team deliverables are fully compliant with Safran's aerospace processes; - Handling the Quality-Cost-Deadlines; - Requesting resources to the Technical Manager considered required by you to fulfill the Project needs; - Reporting to the Technical Manager and stake holders on your Team's progress and advise on risks.

Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Electronics / Computers Science Engineering with minimum of 8 years' experience in aerospace industry (of which at least 3 are in tech lead role); Experience in handling team sizes of 10 and above You know how to build and follow a development roadmap, work with numbers, follow and commit to cost objectives, as well as communicate on your progress in a synthetic and relevant way. Experience in the driving of software projects in fields constrained by aeronautical standards. You are able to quickly understand technical and project challenges including the fields of which you are not an expert of, and are likely to offer solution steps throughout their resolution. Self-reliant, you illustrate yourself as a good communicator, dynamic, rigorous, organized, and show an ease in building professional relationships through teamwork. Must have proven experience with: - DO-178C - Low Level Testing/Low Level Requirements (like with RTRT/IBM RATIONAL TEST REALTIME STUDIO) - High Level Testing/High Level Requirements (like with RTRT/IBM RATIONAL TEST REALTIME STUDIO) - Configuration & Change Management. Nice to have experience with: - Low-level software development/architecture (RTOS/Boot/Driver/Dataloader, compilation toolchain, debug tools like Trace32) - Knowledge of RTOS concepts, Real-time Services, Communication constraints, CPU & memory - Knowledge of embedded networks: CAN, A429, A664, RS4xx, Discrete, PWM, ADC, VDT, Internal mechanisms (DMA, Interruptions) - High-level software development/architecture (MBD/Simulink code generation and compliance with coding rules) - Knowledge of applicative software, control laws, Kalman filtering, State machines.
