Job Title: L1 Support Engineer – MWC Site
Location: Mahindra World City (MWC), Chennai / [Other location if applicable]
Department: IT Support / Infrastructure Services
Reporting To: Site IT Lead / Service Delivery Manager
Experience: 1–3 years in IT desktop or field support
Job Purpose:
To provide on-site Level 1 technical support at the MWC premises for IT infrastructure including desktops, laptops, printers, basic networking, and end-user issues. The engineer will be the first point of contact for users at the client site and will ensure timely resolution or escalation of technical issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-level IT support.
- Handle installation, configuration, and basic troubleshooting of desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
- Assist in resolving basic network connectivity issues (LAN/Wi-Fi).
- Log and track service tickets using the ticketing system
- Escalate unresolved issues
- Coordinate with client's internal IT team or vendors when needed.
- Maintain on-site records for IT inventory and incident logs.
- Ensure basic compliance with IT security policies at user level.
- Provide remote support to other sites if required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Education: Diploma / Graduate in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- Experience: 1–3 years of hands-on IT support
- Technical Skills:
- Windows OS (10/11), MS Office Suite
- Email setup (Outlook, O365)
- Printer troubleshooting and network printer setup
- LAN/Wi-Fi configuration basics
- Soft Skills:
- Good communication (English/Tamil)
- Client coordination and reporting skills
- Ability to work independently on-site
- Time and task management
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹18, ₹30,000.00 per month
