Position Summary

The Accounts Payable Senior Associate is responsible for invoice entry, payment processing, review open GRIR and open purchase orders and other AP duties.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Review, verify and process invoices in the system accurately and timely. Ensure proper approvals as per Company policy.
  • Match invoices to purchase orders and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Prepare payment disbursements files. Address any payment inquiries.
  • Create new vendors and maintain existing vendor files and records
  • Collaborate with Cross-functional teams to resolve AP related issues.
  • Review the open Goods Receipts and work with the Accounting and business units to reconcile discrepancies
  • Review the open purchase order report to ensure invoices are consistently applied
  • Ensure compliance with the Procurement Policy and work with accounting and the business units to rectify non-compliance
  • Prepare the monthly Accounts Payable aging report and Assist AP manager in month-end close activities.
  • Assist in audits, various process improvements initiatives and other such ad hoc requests.

Education Required: Bachelors in Science, Commerce or Arts

Experience Required: 3-5 years Minimum experience in relevant area

SAP experience a must
