Role Summary

UMA Educational Services is seeking a proactive and results-driven Center Manager to oversee the operations of its Thane office. The Center Manager will be the sole responsible leader driving business growth across all verticals — Test Preparation, Nursing Job Placements, AIMA & Professional Programs, and Overseas Education.

This is a high-impact role with significant responsibility and opportunity for performance-based earnings through structured monthly, quarterly, and annual incentives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the UMA Thane center.
  • Strategically manage and motivate the team of Counsellors and Tele-Counsellors.
  • Set and drive monthly business targets across all verticals:
  • Test Prep (IELTS, GRE, GMAT, SAT, German/French)
  • Nursing Job Placements (Germany, Italy, Qatar)
  • Overseas Education (US, UK, Germany, France)
  • Ensure consistent lead conversion and revenue generation from digital and offline channels.
  • Monitor lead flow from platforms like College Dunia, Just Dial, Sulekha, and digital campaigns.
  • Ensure disciplined CRM usage for lead tracking, follow-ups, and documentation.
  • Coordinate with marketing and external vendors for campaigns and lead procurement.
  • Resolve escalations from students, parents, or staff in a professional and timely manner.
  • Conduct weekly team training sessions for objection handling, process adherence, and skill development.
  • Maintain financial accountability: monthly revenue reports, expense management, and reconciliation with accounts.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for university partnerships, external stakeholders, and strategic collaborations.

KPIs (Monthly Targets)

  • Achieve ≥ 90% of the center's revenue target.
  • Maintain ≥15% overall lead-to-conversion ratio.
  • Ensure at least 15–20 admissions across verticals per month.
  • Maintain ≥4/5 student and parent satisfaction scores.
  • Keep team attrition ≤10% per quarter.
  • Ensure ≥80% leads are actively followed up in CRM.

Incentive Structure (Performance-Based Earnings)

  • Monthly Incentives: Commission based on revenue achievement over breakeven.
  • Quarterly Bonus: ₹25,000 for achieving 110% of targets consistently.
  • Annual Performance Bonus: Equivalent up to 1 month's salary for achieving yearly business goals.

The better the performance, the higher the earning potential — empowering the Center Manager to directly benefit from business growth and team efficiency.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Graduate/Postgraduate with 5+ years' experience in managing education centers or consulting firms.
  • Proven track record of managing counseling teams and achieving business targets.
  • Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with the Indian education system, test prep, and overseas admissions processes.
  • Data-driven mindset, well-versed with CRM tools.
