Job Summary
As the Project Manager / Process Manager, you will lead the customization, setup, and rollout of Notion for our e-commerce operations. This role emphasizes creating streamlined workflows, automations, and dashboards tailored to our DTC model, with a strong focus on creative media buying processes (e.g., ad creative development, testing, and performance tracking). You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, creative, operations, and sales to ensure Notion becomes the backbone of our daily operations, improving efficiency and scalability. Key Responsibilities
- Notion Setup and Configuration: Design and build a comprehensive Notion workspace from scratch, including databases, templates, pages, and linked systems for project tracking, task management, and knowledge sharing.
- Process Implementation for DTC E-Commerce: Map out and implement core business processes in Notion, such as inventory management, order fulfillment, customer feedback loops, and sales pipeline tracking, ensuring alignment with DTC best practices.
- Automations and Integrations: Develop and integrate automations using Notion's native tools, API, and third-party services (e.g., Zapier, , or Google Workspace/Slack integrations) to automate repetitive tasks like notifications, data syncing, and reporting.
- Creative Media Buying Focus: Create specialized Notion sections for media buying workflows, including creative asset libraries, A/B testing trackers, performance dashboards, budget overviews, and vendor collaboration portals. Automate alerts for underperforming creatives, budget thresholds, and campaign milestones.
- Team Training and Adoption: Conduct training sessions, create user guides, and drive adoption across the team to ensure seamless integration of Notion into daily workflows.
- Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Set up real-time dashboards for key metrics (e.g., media buy ROI, creative turnaround time), analyze usage data, and iterate on the setup to enhance productivity and reduce bottlenecks.
- Collaboration and Oversight: Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and provide ongoing support. Maintain an overview of all processes to ensure compliance, scalability, and alignment with business goals.
- Documentation and Best Practices: Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) within Notion and ensure all setups are documented for future scalability.
Experience: 3+ years in project management, process optimization, or operations roles, preferably in e-commerce or DTC businesses. Proven experience setting up and managing Notion (or similar tools like Airtable, Asana, or ClickUp) for teams.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Notion, including advanced features like databases, formulas, relations, and automations. Familiarity with integration tools (e.g., Zapier, API scripting) and basic scripting (e.g., JavaScript or Python) is a plus.
- Domain Knowledge: Understanding of DTC e-commerce workflows, especially creative media buying (e.g., Facebook Ads, Google Ads, influencer partnerships). Experience with tools like Google Analytics, Shopify, or ad platforms is highly desirable.
- Soft Skills: Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical setups. Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
