Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze various provisions of Direct Tax, including Withholding Tax and TDS regulations.
  • Manage quarterly tax provisions for listed entities, including evaluation of contingent liabilities.
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Direct Tax laws, with a strong focus on SEZ/IT Park-related assessments and litigation.
  • Apply analytical skills in tax planning, optimization, and structuring of transactions.
  • Compute tax liabilities and prepare tax returns, ensuring full compliance with statutory payment, reporting, and documentation requirements.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with business units and Shared Services to address technical tax-related queries.
  • Supervise tax compliances including timely filing of returns, tax audits, credits, and payments.
  • Ensure adherence to statutory and audit compliances related to all tax transactions.
  • Coordinate with statutory auditors to ensure timely completion of audits and resolution of tax issues.
  • Exposure to Goods and Services Tax (GST) compliance and handling will be an added advantage.

Required Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of Direct Tax laws and regulations.
  • Experience with taxation and litigation processes.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Prior experience in a similar role within a listed entity preferred.
