Department : Business Intelligence / Data Analytics. Job Overview : We are seeking a Senior Tableau and Power BI Developer to join our dynamic Business Intelligence team. As a Senior Developer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing interactive, data-driven visualizations and dashboards using Tableau and Power BI.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions, and be able to collaborate with key stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective data visualizations. Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and implement interactive Tableau and Power BI dashboards and reports to meet business requirements.
• Work closely with business users to understand their requirements and design customized solutions to improve decision-making.
• Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to ensure accurate data sourcing and transformation.
• Perform data modeling and build data pipelines, ensuring that the information in Tableau and Power BI dashboards is clean, accurate, and up-to-date.
• Provide ongoing maintenance and enhancement to Tableau and Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Tableau and Power BI reports, data discrepancies, and performance optimization.
• Leverage Tableau/Power BI features such as calculated fields, parameters, filters, and drill-throughs to create interactive and visually appealing reports.
• Write complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
• Conduct training and provide guidance to junior developers and business users on best practices for Tableau and Power BI usage.
• Ensure security measures and data privacy policies are adhered to when developing reports and dashboards.
• Work with large datasets to uncover insights and key performance indicators (KPIs) that drive business strategies.
• Create detailed documentation for dashboards, data models, and technical workflows.

Skills and Qualifications :

• Proven experience with Tableau and Power BI development (5+ years preferred).
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL.
• Solid understanding of data modeling concepts (e., star schema, snowflake schema).
• Expertise in creating and managing Tableau visualizations, reports, and Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Knowledge of ETL processes and data integration methods.
• Proficient in creating advanced data transformations and calculations using Tableau (e., calculated fields, table calculations) and Power BI (e., DAX, Power Query).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex data and technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in managing and optimizing Tableau Server or Power BI Service.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) is a plus.
• Knowledge of Python or R for advanced analytics and data science integration is an advantage.

Education :

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.

Preferred Experience :
