Role Overview:
The Business Development Executive will collaborate with the Founder - Chief Growth Officer to drive business development for Olio, focusing on B2B opportunities in the Industrial Equipment Manufacturing & Trading sector in Pune. The role involves managing the sales pipeline, from prospecting to closing, with a focus on lead generation and regional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Targeted Prospecting:
Identify and engage potential clients in the industrial equipment sector around Pune & Industrial Hubs of Maharashtra - Lead Generation:
Represent Olio at key exhibitions and trade shows to generate high-quality leads. - Networking:
Build and maintain relationships with industry professionals to generate sales opportunities. - Market Research:
Understand client needs and challenges to develop tailored marketing strategies. - Cold Outreach:
Use cold emailing and personalized communication to connect with prospects. - LinkedIn Networking:
Use LinkedIn and business platforms to expand Olio's network and brand presence. - Sales Reporting:
Maintain records of outreach activities and share insights to refine strategies. - Pitch Preparation:
Create impactful presentations and proposals for potential clients. - Negotiation & Deal Closure:
Negotiate terms, address client concerns, and finalize contracts to successfully close deals while ensuring mutual satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
Goals:
- Lead Generation:
Target 15 new qualified leads per month from exhibitions and networking. - Sales Revenue Growth:
Achieve ₹10 Lakh retainer revenue per quarter. - Client Conversion:
Convert at least 30% of qualified leads into clients. - Networking:
Build relationships with 30 new decision-makers within 3 months.
Preferred Skills:
- MBA in Marketing or related field.
- Prior B2B sales experience in industrial equipment or agency services.
- Proven success in managing and converting leads.
- Strong networking skills, Both offline & online.
