Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Director of Government and Academic Affairs, located in Gurgaon. The role involves developing relationships with local government and public sector stakeholders, representing The SciFront Collective in academic and governmental forums, and driving strategic initiatives. Responsibilities include engagement with policymakers, advocacy efforts, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals. The Director will also analyze policy trends and provide insights to strengthen relationships and promote The SciFront collective's interests.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in Government Relations and a strong understanding of Local Government processes
  • Proven experience in Public Sector engagement and science policy advocacy
  • Strong Communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey ideas
  • Advanced Analytical Skills to assess trends, synthesize information, and inform strategy
  • Leadership abilities and a proven track record of managing cross-sector relationships
  • Familiarity with the academic and publishing sectors is an added advantage
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or a related field
