Role Overview:

We are hiring for one position of VP – Public Affairs & Government Partnerships. This is a seniorstrategic role for experienced consultants and policy professionals with 9–12 years of overall experience.The AVP will act as an individual contributor with high visibility, focusing on shaping MSU's strategyand thought leadership in public affairs while building high-impact partnerships with ministries,regulators, CSR foundations, and multilateral organisations. The role may evolve into a leadershipposition managing a dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and execute MSU's overarching government and public affairs strategy.
• Lead advocacy, grant proposals, and collaboration projects with ministries, CSR arms, and international agencies.
• Represent MSU at national and global policy forums as a thought leader.
• Align cross-functional teams across academics, placements, operations, and admissions to deliver on strategic government mandates
• Provide leadership with forward-looking policy insights, white papers, and strategicrecommendations.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

• MBA from a Tier-1 institution with 10–15 years of overall experience.
• Consulting background (McKinsey, BCG, Bain, AT Kearney) or boutique firms (Sattva,Samagra, Bridgespan) or Big Four firms (EY/PWC/KPMG/Deloitte).
• Deep expertise in government partnerships, policy advocacy, and development consulting.
• Strong record of influencing senior stakeholders in government, CSR, and international agencies.
• Skilled in grant writing, proposal development, and strategic communications.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial, high-pressure environment.
