Solution Architect

Solution Architect with expertise in Microsoft Azure and .NET technologies to design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in cloud-native architectures, microservices, API development, and modern software design patterns. This role requires strong technical leadership, hands-on experience, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the success of cloud-based solutions.

Primary Skills: Cloud Architecture & Azure Expertise:

· Strong experience in Azure cloud services, including App Services, Azure Functions, AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service), Azure API Management, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Service Bus, and Event Grid.

· Expertise in cloud-native application development, serverless computing, and hybrid cloud solutions.

· Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates for cloud provisioning.

· Experience in Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and infrastructure automation.

· Familiarity with Azure networking, security best practices, and cost optimization strategies.

.NET Development & Application Architecture:

· Extensive experience in .NET Core/.NET 6+ for enterprise application development.

· Expertise in microservices architecture, domain-driven design (DDD), and event-driven architectures.

· Strong understanding of API development (REST, GraphQL, gRPC) and API security (OAuth2, JWT, OpenID Connect).

· Hands-on experience with C#, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework, and asynchronous programming.

· Proficiency in containerization (Docker) and orchestration using Kubernetes (AKS).

· Experience in designing scalable, distributed, and cloud-ready applications.

Security, Performance & Compliance:

· Strong understanding of cloud security best practices, identity management (Azure AD, Managed Identities), and role-based access control (RBAC).

· Experience in securing APIs and web applications against OWASP vulnerabilities.

· Knowledge of performance tuning, caching strategies (Redis, Azure Cache), and load balancing techniques.

· Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as GDPR, HIPAA, and SOC2.

Software Development Best Practices & DevOps:

· Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, and automated testing strategies.

· Expertise in unit testing, integration testing, and test-driven development (TDD).

· Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools like Azure Monitor, App Insights, and Log Analytics.

Collaboration & Leadership:

· Lead technical discussions, architecture reviews, and cloud strategy planning.

· Work closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to align architecture with business goals.

· Provide technical mentorship to engineering teams and ensure best practices in software development.

Good to Have Skills:

· Experience in Azure AI/ML services and integrating AI into applications.

· Knowledge of Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) and Microsoft Dynamics 365.

· Exposure to NoSQL databases (Cosmos DB, MongoDB) and Big Data solutions in Azure.

· Understanding of Azure IoT, Edge Computing, and real-time data processing.

Key Responsibilities:

· Design and implement scalable, cloud-native solutions on Azure using .NET technologies.

· Define technical architecture, application design, and cloud adoption strategies.

· Ensure security, compliance, and performance optimization of cloud applications.

· Lead cloud migration, modernization, and application re-platforming initiatives.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of solutions.

· Drive innovation by evaluating and implementing emerging Azure services and technologies.
