Job Title: Proposal Manager & Proposal Engineer

Location: Bengaluru

Experience: 3-15 Years

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Proposal Manager with strong knowledge in engineering projects, especially in Electrical, Instrumentation & Control systems. The candidate will manage the end-to-end proposal process, coordinating with cross-functional teams to deliver technically sound and commercially viable project proposals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Study contractual documents, project proposals, and plans to draft comprehensive project scopes.
  • Coordinate with all offices and teams to prepare complete technical documentation.
  • Work closely with designers and engineers to develop cost-effective solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Represent the company off-site to gather data, meet clients, and identify potential business opportunities.
  • Review vendor bids, project schedules, and technical specifications.
  • Prepare detailed project reports, cost estimates, and timelines.
  • Manage proposal writing, bid management, and online bidding processes.
  • Collaborate with various groups to produce professional proposals and supporting documents.
  • Handle financial terms including payment terms, BG, ABG, PBG, etc.
  • Meet clients, suppliers, and contractors as required.
  • Deliver presentations and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in turnkey projects involving Electrical, Instrumentation & Control systems such as Electrical panels, control panels, VFDs, PLCs, DCS, SCADA (Must).
  • Experience in IIoT, Digitalization, or Smart Manufacturing projects (preferred).
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with clients and internal teams.
  • Experience in technical sales, marketing, or engineering roles.
  • Expertise in proposal writing, bid management, cost estimation, and online bidding.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with industry regulations and future mandates.
