Job Overview
The General Manager - Verification Services will be responsible for enhancing revenue and profitability through optimized operational resources, improving business delivery mechanisms and quality, fostering and developing leadership within the team, building networks for seamless transactions, and enhancing customer relationships.

Job Description
Leadership and Operational Oversight

  • Provide leadership and direction to the Head of Verifications in developing long-term annual plans.
  • Evaluate progress against established targets and ensure adherence to service level agreements.
  • Oversee productivity, quality control, and ensure accurate record maintenance.
  • Lead and supervise background verification operations, ensuring timely completion of cases with high-quality standards.
  • Minimize errors and risks through continuous monitoring of processes.
  • Track operational costs and align them with revenue targets.

Client and Team Management

  • Interact with clients to resolve issues, gather feedback, and facilitate timely invoicing and collection of receivables.
  • Manage relationships with service providers to optimize productivity.
  • Promote personal and professional growth of the team.

Team Management & Succession Planning

  • Manage and develop staff, including performance management, training, and career development.
  • Create and maintain a robust talent pipeline to ensure succession planning (1:2 ratio).

Environment, Social & Governance

  • Oversee corporate governance within the assigned region, ensuring alignment with organizational principles, policies, and regulations.
  • Promote judicious use of natural resources and adhere to the organization's environment, health, and safety policies, objectives, and guidelines.
  • Drive the organization's sustainability initiatives, working towards achieving established targets.

Anti Bribery Management Systems (ABMS)

  • Follow the ABMS roles and responsibilities details as prescribed on the ABMS manual.
  • Understanding of ethical standards and the importance of integrity in business practices.
  • Ability to identify and evaluate risks related to bribery in various business contexts. For more detailed explanation, follow the ABMS manual.

Education

  • Graduate/postgraduate or global equivalent degree.

Experience

  • 12+ years of experience in relevant field
