Job Title: Bancassurance Manager

Location: Mumbai

Reporting to: Corporate Sales Manager

Department: HDFC Life Insurance (Banca Channel)

Job Overview:

The Bancassurance Manager(BAM) will play a key role in driving the sales of HDFC Life Insurance products through the Banca channel at HDFC Bank. This position involves working with bank branches to develop and maintain relationships with customers, ensuring they are provided with personalized insurance solutions to meet their needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Business Development:

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for life insurance products, including term plans, ULIPs, health plans, etc., through HDFC Banks Banca channel.

  • Identify potential customers, understand their financial needs, and recommend suitable life insurance products.
  • Drive leads and business generation from the Bank's customer
  • Convert leads and inquiries from HDFC Bank's staff, customers, and leads generated from the bank's network.

  • Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with HDFC Bank customers and prospects to ensure their satisfaction and retention.

  • Provide end-to-end customer service, including solving queries, providing policy details, and managing renewals and claims assistance.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups to build trust and ensure continued business from the bank's customers.

  • Collaboration with HDFC Bank Team:

  • Work closely with the Bank's Relationship Managers and Branch Managers to ensure the right insurance products are pitched to customers.

  • Support the bank's staff by providing product knowledge and guidance on cross-selling insurance.
  • Conduct virtual training sessions and presentations to the bank's team to enhance their knowledge of HDFC Life products and services.

  • Product Knowledge and Selling:

  • Maintain a high level of knowledge about HDFC Life's product offerings and keep updated on market trends.

  • Conduct virtual meetings, webinars, and presentations to communicate the benefits and features of life insurance products effectively to customers.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Educational Qualification:

  • Graduate in any discipline

  • Experience:

  • 2-4 years of experience in sales, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry

  • Skills:

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to conduct virtual meetings, presentations, and webinars effectively.

  • Ability to analyze customer needs and suggest suitable insurance products.
  • Good understanding of life insurance products, financial planning, and investment strategies.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and digital communication platforms.
