A US IT Recruiter with 5-7 years of experience is primarily responsible for full-cycle recruitment for IT roles in the US, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding technical candidates while ensuring compliance with US employment laws and visa requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full-cycle recruitment
    for US-based IT roles (software engineers, system admins, data scientists, etc.).
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies using job boards, LinkedIn, social media, networking, and referrals
  • Screen and assess candidates (resume screening, technical skill evaluations, interviews).
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to define requirements and build strong working relationships
  • Negotiate offers, discuss compensation, and manage candidate expectations throughout the process
  • Ensure compliance with US labor laws, company policies, and visa sponsorship requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
  • Proactive market research to monitor hiring trends, salary benchmarks, and new skill demands for IT roles
  • Foster a positive candidate experience at each recruitment step

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience:
    5-7 years in US IT recruiting with proven results in closing technical roles
  • Strong understanding of US IT talent market and technologies (Java, .Net, Oracle, SAP, cloud, etc.).
  • Hands-on expertise with modern sourcing techniques and ATS platforms.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of US employment law and visa processes.
  • Ability to manage multiple searches, prioritize, and meet deadlines independently
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
