Lead, Enterprise Data

​​​​​​​Our site in Pune, India is seeking an MDM Solution Engineer – Architecture & Configuration to join our team. In this strategic and hands-on role, you will be responsible for supporting the management and expansion of the Informatica 360 Master Data Management (MDM) ecosystem. You will lead end-to-end integration with internal systems like SAP ECC, MES, and other manufacturing-critical applications. This position plays a key role in enabling business continuity, data-driven decision-making, and digital business transformation across the enterprise.

What You'll Do:

• Designs and configures master data models using Business Entity Services (BES).
• Implements match/merge logic, survivorship rules, and validation rules.
• Customizes 360 applications (Product 360, Customer 360, Supplier 360 etc) for business-specific workflows.
• Defines integration patterns and oversees API development and real-time sync.
• Ensures alignment with enterprise architecture standards and performance benchmarks.
• Collaborates with QA and governance teams to ensure data quality and compliance.
• Supports low-code/no-code development using Informatica configuration tools.
• Engage with cross-functional teams to understand business and technical requirements for master data and translate them into scalable, enterprise-grade solutions using Informatica 360.
• Lead design and development of integration touchpoints, ensuring robust and secure data exchanges between MDM and enterprise platforms including SAP ECC, MES, and other critical IT systems.
• Partner with data stewards and governance leads to enforce data quality frameworks, stewardship models, lineage tracking, and regulatory compliance (including audit and security standards).
• Champion automation by leveraging Informatica's metadata, business entity services, and intelligent match/merge engines to streamline master data lifecycle management.
• Collaborate with global IT operations and business users to align technology delivery with business priorities, using agile practices and changing management discipline.
• Provide governance, monitoring, and support for cloud environment strategy including sandbox, dev, stage, and production releases, following version control and approval gates.
• Own system documentation, stakeholder communications, and performance KPIs for MDM operations.
• Regularly assess new features in the Informatica roadmap and propose value-driven enhancements and proofs of concept for continuous improvement.

What We Seek:

• 10+ years of experience in MDM, data integration, or related IT roles.
• Certified and strong expertise in Informatica 360, including Customer 360/Supplier 360 implementations.
• In-depth understanding of master data modeling, governance practices, and integration methods.
• Experience with ERP (SAP ECC), MES, and enterprise systems in a manufacturing context.
• Ability to manage stakeholders, vendors, and multi-disciplinary teams across global sites.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills with a passion for innovation.

• Hands-on experience with cloud-based MDM platforms (Informatica MDM 360) and APIs.
• Knowledge of low-code/no-code configuration tools and rule-based logic design.
• Familiarity with data governance tools and compliance practices (e.g., audit readiness).
• Exposure to AI/ML integration, metadata management, or semantic search techniques.
• Understanding of manufacturing data lifecycles and digital thread initiatives.
