RadioNyra USA, located in Durham, North Carolina, began its journey in 2014 with the launch of WDUR 1490 AM, offering a 24/7 Desi News, Talk, and Music format in Hindi. The station caters to the rapidly growing South Asian population in the Raleigh-Durham area. With the addition of the HD-4 Channel of 99.9 WCMC-FM and FM translator on 101.9 FM, RadioNyra has become a bridge between home and the United States, providing quality news, music, entertainment, and cultural programming for the influential Indian Subcontinent community in the Triangle area.

Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Radio Sales professional at RadioNyra USA. The individual in this role will be responsible for identifying and acquiring new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and promoting the station's advertising solutions. Daily tasks include customer outreach, sales presentations, negotiations, and closing sales deals. The Sales professional will also provide training and support to clients to ensure the effective use of our advertising products and services.

Qualifications

  • Strong Communication and Customer Service skills
  • Proficiency in Sales and Sales Management
  • Experience in Training and supporting clients
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting
  • Familiarity with the South Asian community and media market is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field
