We are seeking an experienced Finance & Compliance Manager – E-Commerce Operations with a strong background in e-commerce finance, startup operations, and statutory compliance. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience in managing financial processes, coordinating with auditors and CAs, and supporting fundraising and corporate compliance activities. This role combines strategic financial planning with hands-on operational management, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and efficiency across all financial functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end finance and accounting operations for e-commerce channels, including sales reconciliation, payment gateways, and vendor settlements.
  • Coordinate with Chartered Accountants, legal teams, and auditors for compliance, audits, and statutory filings (GST, TDS, ROC, Income Tax, etc.).
  • Oversee fundraising-related documentation, investor reporting, and compliance with shareholding and paid-up capital regulations.
  • Prepare and present financial statements, MIS reports, and cash flow forecasts for management and stakeholders.
  • Implement and optimize financial tools such as Tally ERP, Excel, and other software for efficient reporting.
  • Ensure robust financial controls and internal processes in alignment with startup and investor expectations.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and expense management, maintaining fiscal discipline across departments.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's in Commerce (mandatory); MBA (Finance) or CA Inter preferred.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in accounting, finance, and compliance, preferably within e-commerce or startup environments.
  • Strong command of Tally ERP, Excel, and modern financial tools.
  • Proven understanding of fundraising, capital structure, and investor compliance requirements.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Indian taxation and corporate compliance laws (GST, TDS, Income Tax, ROC).
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities independently.
