The role of Lead Strategic Sourcing/Supply Chain in Adani Defence & Aerospace involves leading and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain operations to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of goods and services. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing strategic sourcing initiatives to secure high-quality materials and services at competitive prices, collaborating with cross-functional teams to align supply chain strategies with overall business objectives, and driving continuous improvement. Additionally, the role requires managing supplier relationships to foster strong partnerships, negotiating favorable terms, and mitigating risks, as well as overseeing the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process to ensure alignment between demand and supply for timely delivery.

Educational Qualifications: B.E. (Mechanical) preferably Tier1 Colleges. Work Location: Connaught Place, Sansad Marg (nearest metro - Rajiv Chowk)Roles & Responsibilities :Minimum 10 years in Supply chain of Defense Business.

Overall 15-20 Years of experience

Lead and execute end-to-end supply chain operations. Identify strategic sourcing initiatives and execute. Meet Business Objectives.

Supplier Delivery, Quality and Competitive sourcing. Identify Business objectives requiring vendor development, capacity creation. Create framework and execute.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align supply chain strategies with overall business objectives and drive continuous improvement. Supplier engagement: & managing supplier relationships: Identification, Development of right sup-pliers to meet Business Targets, Foster strong partnerships with domestic and foreign suppliers. negotiate favorable terms and mitigate risks.

Digitalization: Transformation from intuitive decision making to Data driven decision making. Data visibility through Dashboards to monitor and control end to end solution

Negotiation Skills: Expertise in negotiating contracts and terms with suppliers to achieve favorable outcomes.1. Vendor Base, Defense eco-systems.2.
