Role Summary

Seeking a Senior/Lead Data Scientist specializing in predictive analytics and machine learning.

  • Responsible for leading end-to-end development of data-driven products such as pricing and value forecasting models for stocks, commodities, oil & gas, and consumer goods.

  • Own the full lifecycle from exploration, prototyping, deployment, to ongoing optimization and monitoring.

  • Collaborate with product, strategy, and engineering teams to translate business challenges into scalable ML solutions.

  • Define and manage structured/unstructured data pipelines, feature stores, and production environments.

  • Mentor junior team members on best practices and advanced modeling techniques.

Required Qualifications

6 to 8 years of experience in data science, with hands-on work in production-level machine learning models.

* Expertise in Python, **SQL, and ML libraries such as **scikit-learn, XGBoost, LightGBM, TensorFlow, or **PyTorch.

* Deep understanding of time-series forecasting, **regression modeling, and **feature engineering.

* Proven experience in deploying models to production using tools like Airflow, Docker, MLflow, and working on cloud platforms like **AWS, GCP, or Azure.

* Strong ability to define KPIs, run A/B tests, and iterate based on measurable performance.

* Excellent communication and storytelling skills across technical and non-technical audiences.

* Preferred: Experience with LLMs, **deep learning, or **hybrid models, and awareness of **data privacy and governance.

* Bonus: Publications or thought leadership in machine learning or forecasting domains.
