Role Overview

The
Area Marketing Executive
will be responsible for driving brand visibility, retail activation, in-store merchandising, local partnerships, and field-level marketing initiatives within the assigned territory. This role requires strong on-ground execution, coordination with sales teams, and ensuring high-quality brand representation at every consumer touchpoint.

Key Responsibilities
1. Retail Marketing & Activation

  • Plan and execute local marketing activities in retail stores, chemist outlets, baby shops, and modern trade.
  • Conduct in-store activations, product demos, sampling & awareness campaigns.
  • Ensure brand visibility through standees, POSM, shelf branding, and merchandising.

2. Distributor & Retailer Engagement

  • Work closely with distributors, retailers, and channel partners to drive product availability & display.
  • Support the sales team with marketing inputs, schemes, and promotional material.
  • Conduct retailer meets and training sessions on product knowledge.

3. Market Intelligence

  • Track competitor activities, pricing, new launches, and promotions.
  • Identify local opportunities for brand building and outreach.
  • Share weekly reports with insights, photos, and marketing updates.

4. Event & Outreach Management

  • Organize events in hospitals, maternity clinics, baby stores, societies, and parent communities.
  • Collaborate with pediatricians, maternity hospitals, and influencers for local activations.
  • Support participation in exhibitions, baby fairs & medical events.

5. Brand Compliance & Execution

  • Ensure consistent brand guidelines across all marketing assets.
  • Monitor quality of POSM deployment, branding, and execution.

Key Skills Required

  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • On-ground execution & vendor coordination.
  • Good understanding of retail marketing & activations.
  • Ability to travel extensively within assigned area.
  • Proficient with basic reporting tools (Excel, WhatsApp reports, email).

Qualification & Experience

  • Any Graduate (MBA/PGDM in Marketing preferred).
  • 1–3 years of experience in field marketing, brand activation, FMCG, pharma, or baby-care industry (preferred).
  • Freshers with strong passion for marketing may be considered.
