Network Engineer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Network Engineer to join our IT infrastructure team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, monitoring, and managing local and wide area networks (LAN/WAN), ensuring high availability and security of the network infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain LAN, WAN, wireless networks, and internet systems.
- Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
- Configure and install network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS).
- Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues and outages.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to support voice, data, video, and wireless network services.
- Implement security tools, policies, and procedures to safeguard the network infrastructure.
- Document network configurations, procedures, and policies.
- Provide technical support and guidance to users and other IT staff.
- Stay up to date with the latest network technologies and trends.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):
- Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, JNCIS, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent.
- Experience with SD-WAN, MPLS, VoIP, and QoS technologies.
- Knowledge of scripting and automation (Python, Ansible, etc.).
- Familiarity with ITIL framework and change management processes.
