Job Title- Network Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer with extensive experience in network design, implementation, and management. The ideal candidate will possess advanced knowledge of Juniper technologies and certifications, including JNCIE-ENT (Juniper Networks Certified Internet Expert - Enterprise), JNCDS-DC (Juniper Networks Certified Design Specialist - Data Center), WAN (Wide Area Network), and SEC (Security) certifications. The Senior Network Engineer will be responsible for overseeing network infrastructure, troubleshooting complex issues, and ensuring optimal performance and security across the network.

Job Location: Bangalore /Chennai

Key Responsibilities:

  • Network Design & Architecture: Design, implement, and manage complex network infrastructures with a focus on enterprise-level networks, data centers, and security.
  • Configuration & Troubleshooting: Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other Juniper-based hardware and software solutions.
  • WAN & Data Center Management: Maintain and optimize WAN connectivity and data center network infrastructure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Security & Risk Management: Implement and maintain network security policies, protocols, and devices (firewalls, VPNs, etc.) to protect the network from potential threats and breaches.
  • Project Management: Lead network-related projects from planning through execution, ensuring that timelines and deliverables are met.
  • Monitoring & Optimization: Monitor network performance using monitoring tools, identify issues, and recommend improvements for enhanced performance and reliability.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other IT teams (systems, database, security, etc.) to ensure seamless integration and functionality of network services.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain up-to-date network diagrams, documentation, and provide regular reporting on network health, performance, and issues.


• Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related

field (or equivalent experience).

  • Certifications:
  • Mandatory: JNCS, JNCDS-DC (Or Equivalent)
  • Additional certifications in network engineering or security are a plus.
  • Experience: 3 - 4 years of experience as a network engineer, with a focus on enterprise networks, data center environments, and security.
  • In-depth experience with Juniper routers, switches, firewalls, and related network devices.
  • Hands-on experience with WAN technologies (MPLS, VPN, BGP, OSPF, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of network security concepts, including IPSec, SSL VPN, and firewall configuration.


• Skills

  • Advanced knowledge of Designing Juniper networking solutions and their configuration.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with network management tools, monitoring systems, and performance analysis.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.


• Preferred Skills:

  • Experience and certification with other networking technologies such as Aruba, Cisco, Fortinet and Palo Alto is a plus.
  • Experience and certification in Aruba and Juniper wireless networks is a plus
  • Ability to lead and mentor junior network engineers.
  • Experience with cloud-based networking and hybrid network models is beneficial.
