Key Responsibilities

  • Architect and Scale
    : Design, build, and operationalize a global SOC from the ground up, including strategy, roadmap, and physical environment setup.
  • Technical Leadership
    : Provide deep expertise across cybersecurity technologies, aligning SOC strategy with overall business objectives to deliver measurable value and support revenue growth.
  • MSSP Operations
    : Manage customer engagements in an MSSP environment, ensuring exceptional service delivery and integration of SOC solutions.
  • Team Leadership
    : Build, lead, and mentor a world-class cybersecurity team, from threat hunters to SOC managers and incident responders, fostering collaboration, innovation, and high performance.
  • Operational Excellence
    : Establish frameworks, playbooks, and performance metrics in line with global best practices.
  • Advanced Threat Management
    : Lead detection and response operations leveraging SIEM, SOAR, EDR, XDR, UEBA, threat intelligence, AI and machine learning–driven automation.
  • Continuous Innovation
    : Drive a culture of adaptability, automation, and operational improvement.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 15 years in cybersecurity, including at least 6 years in global SOC/CSOC leadership roles.
  • Proven track record in building and scaling SOC/CSOC teams from inception to maturity.
  • Strong expertise in security operations, threat intelligence, incident response, and endpoint security.
  • Industry-recognized certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA (additional credentials are a plus).
  • Experience in regulated industries such as BFSI, healthcare, government, or telecom preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field; Master's degree preferred.

Additional Information

  • Preference given to candidates currently working in Tier-1 SOC providers who are based in Hyderabad and available to join immediately.
  • This role requires occasional international travel.
