POSITION OVERVIEW

Xogene combines regulatory expertise with advanced technology to automate complex processes in clinical trials disclosure. Our software streamlines workflows through AI and agentic networking capabilities, improving data transformation and regulatory compliance for leading pharmaceutical and life sciences companies. We're committed to advancing technological solutions in clinical trial transparency.

We are seeking Jr. Software Developers to join our dynamic team and contribute to our ongoing growth and success. Qualified candidates should be motivated to combine design and programming to define and build great products. This team is involved with working on large-scale, mission-critical web applications using Python, Django, Flask, Express, AngularJS, and React. The position requires the translation of UI/UX wireframes to product-ready code. You will be working on the development of scalable and maintainable software in an agile team environment.

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work within a development team to grow and support large, complex web applications
  • Work with the senior developer, business analysts and managers to plan and execute new products, features and improvements
  • Write unit tests for new functionalities
  • Troubleshoot and debug software issues to ensure optimal performance and reliability
  • Communicate effectively with project stakeholders and team members to ensure project success
  • Follow best practices and coding standards to maintain high-quality codebase
  • Collaborate with other product teams, ad operations, and vendors as needed

REQUIREMENTS

  • Solid technical knowledge of CS fundamentals and data structures
  • Familiarity with Python programming language
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming concepts
  • Knowledge of web application development and web technologies like HTML, CSS
  • Good knowledge in Linux
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git
  • Familiarity with agile development tools
  • Experience with relational databases
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Eagerness to learn with an adaptable mindset
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Masters's degree in computer science or computer applications

  • Preference for small, agile teams that strive to regularly deploy to production
  • Passion for continual learning and improving the team around you
  • Interest in web architecture and contemporary web frameworks
  • Experience in REST API and any Web development framework like Django/Flask/FastAPI
