Role Overview

The Regional Operations Head will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end retail operations of multiple jewellery stores within the assigned region. The role demands strong leadership, operational excellence, sales orientation, and the ability to ensure compliance with company standards while driving growth and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

1. Store Operations & Performance

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of all stores in the region.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, SOPs, and operational guidelines.
  • Drive sales targets and profitability across the region.
  • Monitor inventory management, stock control, and loss prevention.

2. Business Development & Growth

  • Contribute to regional business strategy and expansion plans.
  • Identify potential new store locations and support new store launches.
  • Track regional market trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences.

3. Team Leadership & People Management

  • Lead, coach, and mentor Store Managers and their teams.
  • Monitor staff productivity, grooming standards, and sales performance.
  • Drive training initiatives for staff on product knowledge, selling skills, and customer service.
  • Handle escalations related to HR, staffing, and attrition issues.

4. Customer Experience & Brand Standards

  • Ensure consistent delivery of superior customer experience across all outlets.
  • Maintain high standards of store ambience, display, and visual merchandising.
  • Handle customer grievances at the regional level and ensure quick resolution.

5. Financial & Compliance

  • Monitor P&L performance of stores and ensure cost optimization.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (Hallmarking, BIS, GST, etc.).
  • Conduct regular audits on cash handling, billing accuracy, and adherence to financial protocols.

6. Reporting & Coordination

  • Provide regular updates to senior management on regional performance.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, HR, Supply Chain, and Training teams to implement initiatives.
  • Prepare MIS reports and analytics for business review meetings.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Graduate / MBA preferred (Retail / Operations Management).
  • 1015 years of experience in Retail Operations, with at least 5 years in jewellery industry.
  • Proven track record in managing multi-location retail operations.
  • Strong exposure to sales, customer engagement, and compliance.
