We are seeking a highly talented and experienced 3D Character Animator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality, emotionally compelling, and believable character animation for AAA titles or high-end animation projects. A strong understanding of character rigging is also required for this role.Key Responsibilities:Create and implement high-quality 3D character animation (both keyframe and motion capture cleanup/editing) that meets artistic, narrative, and technical specifications for in-game actions, cinematics, and cutscenes.Work closely with the Art Director, Animation Lead, and Design teams to define and maintain the animation style and fidelity.Demonstrate expertise in the principles of animation (timing, weight, anticipation, follow-through) to breathe life into a diverse cast of characters.Contribute to the rigging and skinning process, ensuring that models are animation-friendly and deform correctly across a wide range of movements.Iterate rapidly on animations based on team feedback and technical constraints.Help establish and maintain the animation pipeline and best practices.Mentor junior animators and provide constructive feedback when needed.Required Qualifications:4+ years of professional experience as a 3D Character Animator, preferably within the gaming or animation industry.Extensive experience with AAA character animation pipelines and the demands of high-fidelity projects.Proficiency in industry-standard 3D animation software (e.g., Autodesk Maya, 3ds Max, Blender).Proven experience with character rigging, skinning, and weight painting.Exceptional understanding of human and animal anatomy, locomotion, and mechanics.A strong portfolio/demo reel showcasing a range of character animation work.Solid understanding of game engine integration (e.g., Unity, Unreal Engine) and animation state machines is a significant plus.Why Join Aroha?-> Work on AAA-quality game projects with a passionate and creative team-> Opportunity to shape the look of original characters and game worlds-> Growth-focused environment in a fast-moving game studio-> Exposure to both realistic and stylized projectsJob Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: ₹300, ₹500,000.00 per yearAbility to commute/relocate:Rajkot, Gujarat: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)Experience:3D Character animation: 4 years (Required)Work Location: In person
