About the Role
We are looking for a Mid-Level
3D Animator
who can take full ownership of our animation pipeline. From rigging to skinning to creating polished keyframe animations, you will be responsible for ensuring our avatars feel alive, expressive, and natural.
Key Responsibilities
- Create high-quality keyframe and mocap-based animations for avatars (dances, gestures, poses, emotes, loops)
- Rig and skin characters with industry-standard practices
- Retarget, clean, and refine motion-capture animations
- Collaborate with our character and environment artists to maintain a consistent animation style
- Set up animations in Unity (Animator Controller, Retargeting, IK)
- Optimize animations for mobile performance
- Work with designers to implement interactive avatar animations for social features
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in Maya/Blender for animation
- Expertise in rigging & weight painting (mandatory)
- Ability to clean and polish mocap data
- Deep understanding of body mechanics(Anatomy) and animation principles
- Experience with Unity animation workflows
- Ability to handle end-to-end animation pipeline independently
- 1–3+ years of professional animation experience (gaming preferred)
