Vauxer Lifestyle, a product of Vauxer Enterprises Private Limited, is set to revolutionise the virtual world. Built on the principles of Visually Appealing User Experience (VAUX), Vauxer Lifestyle immerses users in a seamless digital 3D environment, transforming them into "Vauxers." a world where avatars, emotions, and lifestyle experiences come alive.

We're building an immersive and accessible 3D world that allows users to create their digital identity, socialize, customize spaces, and live their parallel life — all without the need for expensive VR gear.

We are currently incubated at Startup Odisha (O-Hub) and IIT Bhubaneswar Research & Entrepreneurship Park, and are expanding our development team to bring this vision to life.

Role Overview

We're looking for a
Unity Game Developer
who can help us build the foundation of our interactive social world — including avatar systems, multiplayer features, and environmental interactions. You'll collaborate closely with 3D artists and designers to create a seamless, visually rich, and optimized in-game experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement core gameplay systems using Unity (C#).
  • Integrate real-time multiplayer and social interaction systems (friends, chat, emotes, poses).
  • Build a sophisticated Avatar Face Customization System enabling users to modify facial features, hairstyles, and accessories dynamically.
  • Collaborate with 3D artists for avatar, outfit, and environment integration.
  • Implement UI/UX logic across 25+ in-game screens and popups.
  • Develop apartment customization systems (drag-and-drop furniture placement).
  • Work with shaders and particle systems to create engaging visual effects.
  • Integrate backend APIs and ensure performance optimization for mobile and PC.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of professional experience in Unity 3D and C# scripting.
  • Strong understanding of multiplayer systems (Photon, Mirror, or Netcode for GameObjects).
  • Experience developing avatar customization systems (face or outfit).
  • Proficiency in UI systems, animation controllers, shaders, and particle effects.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs, Firebase, or similar backends.
  • Solid grasp of asset optimization, profiling, and debugging.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Bonus Skills

  • Experience developing or testing any 3D multiplayer game using Unity.
  • Familiarity with shader programming and advanced visual effects.
  • Knowledge of Unity's HDRP or URP render pipelines.
  • Proficiency in profiling and debugging tools to identify and fix performance bottlenecks.
