skilled 3D Character Artist
who understands anatomy, emotion, and real-time optimization for games.

Bhubaneswar (Work from Office)

Type:
Full-time | 6-day workweek

Salary:

₹50,000 - ₹65,000
based on experience


Role Overview

You'll be responsible for creating stylized-to-realistic characters optimized for real-time multiplayer environments. You'll work closely with Unity developers and animators to ensure characters look great, deform well, and perform smoothly on mobile devices.


Responsibilities

  • Create high-quality
    3D characters and avatars
    for a real-time game environment
  • Sculpt characters
    (head, face, body) with strong anatomical accuracy
  • Perform
    skinning, weight painting, and mesh cleanup
    for animation readiness
  • Work on
    clothing, hairstyles, and accessories
    compatible with avatar customization systems
  • Optimize meshes and textures for
    mobile performance
  • Collaborate with animators for deformation-friendly rigs
  • Ensure assets integrate smoothly into
    Unity (URP preferred)


Required Skills

  • Strong experience in
    character sculpting
    (ZBrush / Blender)
  • Hands-on knowledge of
    skinning & weight painting
  • Understanding of
    topology for animation
  • Experience creating
    game-ready characters
  • Familiarity with PBR workflows, texture baking, and LODs


Bonus Skills

  • Experience with
    avatar-based or multiplayer games
  • Knowledge of blendshapes / facial morphs
  • Experience optimizing characters for
    mobile platforms
