Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of Operating Room:
  • Ensure the operating room is clean, sterile, and well-organized before the start of surgical procedures.
  • Prepare surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies needed for surgeries.
  • Check and maintain the functionality of surgical equipment, such as anesthesia machines, surgical lights, and monitoring devices.
  • Assisting Surgical Team:
  • Assist surgeons, nurses, and anesthesiologists during surgical procedures by passing instruments, handling specimens, and maintaining the sterile field.
  • Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and provide necessary support during procedures.
  • Monitor and record vital signs and other patient data as required during surgeries.
  • Post-operative Care:
  • Assist with the cleaning and disinfection of the operating room after surgeries.
  • Ensure all surgical instruments are properly cleaned, sterilized, and stored.
  • Dispose of medical waste in accordance with hospital policies and regulations.
  • Maintenance and Inventory:
  • Assist in maintaining an inventory of surgical supplies and equipment.
  • Ensure all surgical instruments are in good working condition and properly sterilized before use.
  • Report any malfunctioning equipment or supply shortages to the appropriate personnel.
  • Compliance and Safety:
  • Adhere to hospital policies, protocols, and safety standards to maintain a safe and effective operating environment.
  • Follow infection control procedures to prevent the spread of infections within the operating room.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay updated on the latest surgical techniques, equipment, and safety protocols.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹200, ₹400,000.00 per year
