OT Technician should Inspect Test Calibrate and keep machine fully functional in each OT for use every morning before surgery end of the day After every case he should properly Clean position all cables and equipment aside when not in use and or Inspect test calibrate and keep machine ready for another case After completion of all Routine Cases he is responsible of doing Maintenance such as General Cleaning Cleaning of Filters Water Traps Flow Sensors etc of all equipments User settings operation of all equipments eg C-arm Microscope Endoscopy System etc required during Surgery should be done by OT Technicians only During Breakdown OT Technician should be able to isolate diagnose the problem He should co- ordinate with OT In-charge and Biomedical Engineering Department for Major repairs He should maintain records related to Daily Inspection Maintenance and Repairs He should also attain training for usage maintenance of equipment as and when required Working knowledge of computer is required Periodically they will be evaluated by every Surgeon for their performance Adequate Training will be given for Operation Maintenance and Fault Diagnosis Minor Repairs
