We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Commi 1 to join our team in the hospitality industry, specifically with Marriott International. The ideal candidate will have experience in Halwai/South Indian/Asian cuisine.

Roles and Responsibility

  • Assist in preparing and cooking high-quality dishes according to company standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
  • Develop and implement new menu ideas and recipes to enhance culinary offerings.
  • Ensure all food products are stored properly and used within their expiration dates.
  • Participate in inventory management of kitchen supplies and ingredients.

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Commi 1 in a professional kitchen setup, preferably in Halwai/South Indian/Asian cuisine.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and ingredient combinations.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, maintaining composure and attention to detail during peak hours.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to effectively collaborate with colleagues and management.
  • Familiarity with kitchen equipment operation and maintenance is desirable.
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service by providing outstanding food quality and presentation.
