Job Summary:

The Desktop Support Engineer will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to end-users for hardware, software, and network-related issues. The role involves troubleshooting, installation, maintenance, and ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations within the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
  • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues both onsite and remotely.
  • Manage user accounts, email configurations, and network access (Active Directory, Outlook, etc.).
  • Handle software installations and updates as per company's IT policy.
  • Ensure antivirus and security patches are updated regularly.
  • Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation.
  • Provide support for LAN/WAN connectivity, internet, and Wi-Fi issues.
  • Assist in setting up projectors, video conferencing, and other IT equipment.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to higher-level technical teams when necessary.
  • Provide end-user training and guidance for IT systems and tools.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office, Outlook, and networking basics.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and remote desktop tools.
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple support requests.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20, ₹25,000.00 per month
