Job Summary:

The HR Recruiter & Onboarding Specialist is responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment cycle and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for new hires. This role plays a key part in attracting top talent, coordinating with hiring managers, and helping new employees integrate seamlessly into the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment

  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process: job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring.
  • Collaborate with department heads to understand hiring needs and job specifications.
  • Source candidates using a variety of methods (LinkedIn, job portals, social media, employee referrals, campus hiring, etc.).
  • Conduct initial HR interviews and coordinate technical or managerial rounds.
  • Maintain candidate databases and track recruitment metrics (e.g., time-to-hire, cost-per-hire).
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the process.

Onboarding

  • Prepare offer letters, employment contracts, and pre-joining documentation.
  • Coordinate new hire orientation programs and ensure completion of onboarding checklists.
  • Set up new employee profiles in HRIS and ensure access to tools, systems, and resources.
  • Partner with IT, Admin, and Payroll to facilitate seamless onboarding.
  • Collect and maintain employee records as per company policy and legal requirements.
  • Conduct follow-up sessions with new hires to ensure successful integration.

HR Support

  • Assist in updating HR policies, procedures, and databases.
  • Participate in employer branding and recruitment marketing activities.
  • Support campus recruitment drives and internship programs.
  • Provide regular recruitment and onboarding reports to HR leadership.
