Assistant Manager – Accounts & Finance

Location:
Waluj, Chh. Sambhajinagar (Aurangabad)

Compensation:
₹5,00,000 – ₹6,00,000 per annum

Working Mode:
On-site, 5-day working (Monday to Friday)

Job Purpose

To manage and oversee day-to-day accounts and finance operations, ensure statutory compliance, support financial planning and analysis, and maintain accurate records to facilitate informed decision-making for the organization's leadership.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Accounting & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate books of accounts as per applicable accounting standards.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Assist in the finalization of accounts and statutory audits.

2. Accounts Payable & Receivable

  • Oversee vendor payments and ensure timely clearance.
  • Manage customer billing, invoicing, and collections.
  • Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies.

3. Banking & Reconciliation

  • Handle bank transactions and prepare bank reconciliation statements.
  • Monitor cash flow and maintain fund flow statements.

4. Taxation & Compliance

  • Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, and other statutory returns.
  • Assist in handling tax audits and ensure compliance with government regulations.

5. Budgeting & Cost Control

  • Support in preparing budgets and conducting variance analysis.
  • Monitor expenses to ensure adherence to company policies and cost efficiency.

6. Internal Controls

  • Implement and maintain strong internal controls across accounting processes.
  • Support internal audits and recommend process improvements.

7. Team Coordination

  • Guide and mentor junior accountants to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely financial reporting.

Job Specifications

  • Education:
    B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / CA Inter preferred
  • Experience:
    Minimum 7–8 years of relevant experience in Accounts & Finance
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in
    SAP
    (mandatory)
  • Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances
  • Advanced MS Excel skills
