Job summary

Join our team as a Tekla Modeler, where you will be responsible for creating detailed 3D models of industrial structures, ensuring precision and compliance with project specifications. This role is essential for the design and construction process within the Industrial, Oil & Gas sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • 3D Modeling with Tekla: Develop comprehensive 3D models of industrial structures using Tekla software, ensuring all specifications and engineering standards are met.
  • Coordination with Design Team: Collaborate closely with engineers and the design team to integrate modeling changes and ensure cohesion between architectural and structural elements.
  • Drawing and Detailing: Produce detailed drawings and plans from the 3D models for use in construction, including assembly, component, and general arrangement drawings.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct quality checks on models and drawings to ensure accuracy and completeness before submission for construction.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of model changes and provide regular reports on project progress to project managers and lead engineers.
  • Software Proficiency: Tekla Structures, Navisworks, AutoCAD

Key Requirements

  • Experience: 2-4 years of experience in Tekla modeling within the industrial, oil & gas sector.
  • Education: Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field. A relevant degree would be advantageous.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Tekla Structures for modeling, along with knowledge of project-specific software tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in oil & gas plant modeling projects
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment
