Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop fragrance compositions and accords aligned with the Birra Fragrances brand, for product categories including:

  • Premium Perfumes (For Him / For Her)

  • Attars & Fragrance Oils (Arabic, French, Wasif Collection)

  • Home Fragrances (Air Fresheners, Bakhoors)

  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to interpret fragrance briefs (theme, target audience, mood, market segment).

  • Source and evaluate raw materials (essential oils, aroma chemicals, accords) for performance, stability, cost and compliance.
  • Conduct olfactory trials, sensory evaluation and stability testing of fragrance submissions, in different product bases and formats (EDP, attar oil, diffuser, spray).
  • Ensure all fragrance formulations comply with industry and regulatory standards (e.g., IFRA, safety data sheets, packaging compatibility).
  • Maintain formulation records, sample libraries, fragrance inventory and documentation.
  • Work with packaging & production teams for scale-up processes, batch validation and quality checks.
  • Monitor market performance of launched fragrances, gather feedback and provide insights for continuous improvement of scent portfolio.
  • Stay current with fragrance trends: regional preferences (India, Middle East), raw material innovations, competitor benchmarking.
