Role:
Junior Perfumer

Location:
Mumbai

Reporting to:
Technical Head

Job responsibilities:

Creation/Formulation of Perfumes (Fragrances) and maintain new product recipes.

Participation in product trials / first commercial productions of new products.

Modifications and improvements in existing products based on customer requirements.

Developing specific products as per customer requirements.

Responsible for R&D of fragrances and application of fragrances for customer products

or internally developed bases and also conduct stability study and retention of Perfumes

(Fragrances) in developed formulations.

Proactive product development of Cosmetics, Personal Care, Fine Fragrances, Soaps &

Detergents etc.

Interact with Customers in coordination with sales team to know their problems &

requirements.

Maintain an inventory of raw materials and ingredients required for formulation

development.

Should be able to prioritize and deliver customer projects in time for successful

commercialization.

Closely co-ordinate with the Global headquarter and manage internal stakeholders.

Ability to work independently under tight time schedules.

Manage the interdependencies between different functions production/sales etc.

Qualification & Skill sets:

4-5 years of experience in creating fragrances for a broad range of cosmetic & personal

care products, Car Care, Home Care, Aromatherapy, Soaps & Detergents, fine fragrances

category.

Strong understanding of sensory science to include different methodologies.

Encapsulation of fragrances.

Good communication skills
